Hezbollah's significant weaponry could change war dynamics: Larijani
Senior Advisor to the Leader of the Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Larijani, stresses his confidence in Hezbollah's victory.
If Hezbollah deploys its significant weaponry, it will substantially alter the dynamics of the war, said Ali Larijani, Senior Advisor to the Leader of the Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In an interview for the website of Sayyed Ali Khamenei's office, Larijani expressed his "confidence in Hezbollah's victory," highlighting the high morale of the Resistance fighters as a key factor.
"Any decision made by the Lebanese government, Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, and Hezbollah will receive the full support of the Islamic Republic," he stated.
A few days ago, Larijani arrived in Lebanon from Syria, and following a meeting with the Lebanese Parliament Speaker, he confirmed that "Hezbollah is a rational and logical party with many wise and politically mature leaders, and we trust them and their decisions," considering that "the Resistance is mature, both in its intellect and action."
"It does not need any advice from anyone; rather, it often offers guidance to others," he asserted.
While Larijani viewed the Israeli political and military statements as "propagandist", he emphasized Iran's trust in "the awareness of the Resistance leaders."
The Iranian official underscored that "the battles being fought by the Resistance in South Lebanon indicate the failure of the Zionists and their irrationality."
Syrian President Bashar al-Assad on November 14 received Larijani for discussions focused on recent regional developments, particularly the Israeli aggression on Palestine and Lebanon and the necessity of halting it, state media reported.
On his part, Larijani, also a member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council, reaffirmed Iran’s solidarity with Syria and its readiness to provide comprehensive support, praising Syria’s pivotal role in the region and expressing a desire to enhance this role for the benefit of regional states and their people.
