Hezbollah announced that the missile fire also targeted the occupation's recently established military command headquarters in Wadi Saasa, confirming direct hits.

Earlier today, our correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that an Israeli airstrike and artillery shelling targeted the surroundings of Ayta al-Shaab. Israeli shelling also targeted the vicinity of the towns of Marwahin, Aitaroun, and al-Labbouneh.

Simultaneously, Israeli media confirmed sirens sounding in the northern settlements near the borders with Lebanon.

Downed drone at dawn

Earlier this dawn, Hezbollah downed a multi-purpose Israeli Hermes 450 combat drone.

The drone is a reconnaissance and surveillance aircraft which also serves as a combat drone.

This operation, Al Mayadeen's military and strategic affairs commentator, serves as a blow to the enemy's security structure on the northern front. The relative retreat of infantry and armored vehicles and the destruction of surveillance devices has prompted the occupation to rely heavily on drones which Hezbollah has shown can be rendered ineffective.
