How did international media tackle Maduro's interview with Al Mayadeen?
International media outlets, as well as an Israeli newspaper, reported the Venezuelan President's interview with Al Mayadeen with an emphasis on his upcoming visit to Iran.
A number of agencies and media outlets reported the exclusive interview conducted by Al Mayadeen with Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, focusing on his intentions to visit Iran soon.
Israeli newspaper The Times of "Israel" emphasized Maduro's intention to visit Iran soon at the invitation of the Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi of strengthening cooperation between both countries.
The newspaper quoted the Venezuelan president saying in his interview with Al Mayadeen: “I am going to Tehran very soon, for a visit that President Raisi offered me, so that we meet in person, to hold conversations and sign new agreements.”

Maduro did not specify a date for his visit. He also revealed that he and the Iranian President have held two telephone calls during which they agreed on new plans, clarifying that the goal would be to "speed up processes of cooperation."
The newspaper noted that the Venezuelan leader praised Iranian Leader Ali Khamenei during the interview, saying he admires him as “a man of great wisdom and great intelligence.”
In turn, a number of agencies, newspapers, and websites reported the interview's content, chiefly among them Reuters -which focused on Maduro's intent to visit Tehran- alongside renowned outlets such as the American U.S.News and The Gazette, the British The Daily Mail, the Canadian National Post, and the Saudi Arab News.
