If US insists on aggression, Yemen will respond accordingly: Exclusive
According to an Ansar Allah official, the presence of US troops in Bab Al-Mandab and off the coast of Yemen poses a serious security threat to maritime navigation.
A member of the political bureau of the Yemeni Ansar Allah movement, Ali Al-Qahoum, told Al-Mayadeen on Tuesday that "the US is playing a dangerous game as it conspires with British engineers and insists on pursuing a policy of aggression while impeding the national peace process."
According to the Yemeni official, "The presence of US troops in Bab Al-Mandab and off the coast of Yemen poses a serious security threat to maritime navigation, and further proves the US' aggressive policy against the country."

The official further stated that "the aggression and siege that has been going on for the past 8 years are clearly led and fully coordinated by America," adding that "Saudi Arabia and the UAE are nothing but tools instrumented by the US to execute its policy of aggression with the blessing and participation of Israel, the UK and France."
Al-Qahoum stressed that "the American and British tendencies to keep the conflict ongoing, go on with the aggression, impose more blockade measures, and consolidate the 'no war, no peace' status demand the utmost national responsibility of enhancing steadfastness."

He continued, saying, "If the Americans insist on aggression and blockade, the response will be in a way that achieves the required effect and sufficient pressure on the aggressor, whoever it may be."
Through Al Mayadeen, the Ansar Allah official sent a clear message to the Saudi coalition, saying, "Elusiveness, gaining time, changing tools, and all the aspects of aggression and conspiracies are unacceptable," noting that the Saudi-led coalition "is standing before clear options that cannot be circumvented."
He added, "We say to the countries of aggression, do not bet on time and do not count on the deceptiveness of the envoys as the overall equation is changing and reality is different."

Al-Qahoum pointed out that "the only guarantor for the return of the truce is that the demands of the people and their rights be respected, which will open the prospects for peace, and there is no way to achieve this by prevarication."
Earlier in the day, the Minister of Defense in the Sanaa government, Major General Muhammad Al-Atifi, stressed that "the armed forces have taken appropriate measures to ensure that they deal forcefully and firmly with any development that poses a threat or harm to Yemen's national and maritime sovereignty."
