Egyptian engineer Mahmoud Sobhy resigned from his job in computer software giant Oracle, after knowing that its chairman, chief technology officer and co-founder, Larry Ellison, is one of the largest financiers of the Israeli occupation army.

Sobhy announced his resignation on a Facebook post, saying, "I announce my resignation from the giant Oracle company after I stayed with them for nearly two years, despite the fact that working in one of those giant companies was a dream for me and for many of my peers."
