Yesterday, Addameer Foundation for Human Rights made an urgent appeal to Special Rapporteur on the right to physical and mental health, Tlaleng Mofokeng, to move quickly and take immediate and effective measures to save the life of prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid.

It is noteworthy that the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid entered his 14th day of coma due to his struggle with lung cancer and Israeli medical negligence.

The prisoners in the Israeli occupation prisons decided to go on a hunger strike, on  Monday, in refusal to neglect his right and to demand his release.

Today, the Palestinian national and Islamic forces stressed the importance of continuing popular and mass activities to support the prisoners' cause, especially the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who is having a difficult health condition.
