Iran has successfully targeted Israeli domestic and foreign operations, Iranian Security Minister Esmail Khatib said, according to Tansim News Agency.

The official said in his meeting in the Markazi Province of Iran that the Islamic Republic successfully counteracted the "Zionist regime's" operations in the region. 

Khatib underlined the cooperation and synergy expressed by Iranian intelligence and security organizations, which enabled the agencies to thwart Israeli actions against Iran.

In late 2022, the Minister said it has become clear after recent events that the Zionist entity was responsible for the implementation of riots in Iran.

Iran’s High Council for Human Rights (HCHR) published a report that detailed various instances of violence against Iranian security forces during Western-backed riots in the country. The report highlighted the role Western countries, their agents, and collaborators had in orchestrating and directing the riots through the promotion of propaganda campaigns that took advantage of Mahsa Amini’s death in September 2022.

Iranian leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei called on the Muslim world earlier in April to capture the great opportunity, which has presented itself, to accelerate the decline of "Israel".

"Several decades ago, Ben-Gurion, one of the founders of the fake regime, said 'We will be destroyed whenever our deterrent power ends.' The world is currently witnessing this reality and if nothing happens, the end of the usurping regime is close." the Iranian leader said in a meeting with a group of Iranian officials and ambassadors from the Islamic countries in Tehran.

Sayyed Khamenei pointed to the diligent work of the Palestinian Resistance fighters in the occupied West Bank and other areas in Palestine, which has facilitated the decline of Israeli deterrence.
