The Israeli occupation acknowledges the death of two Israeli occupation soldiers in a Hezbollah operation against their post in the Metulla settlement earlier on Monday.

The Israeli occupation forces' statement confirmed that a Hezbollah one-way drone successfully hit an Israeli occupation military site located in the Metulla settlement in northern occupied Palestine.

The statement added that while occupation forces attempted to intercept the one-way drone, it ultimately claimed their lives.

Hezbollah details Metulla target; Israeli military surveillance unit

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon - Hezbollah announced that its fighters carried out Monday a series of operations against Israeli military sites and troops along the border with occupied Palestine.

In what was described by Israeli media as a "complex" operation, Hezbollah announced a strike at 11:30 am using one-way drones targeting a gathering of Israeli soldiers and vehicles in Metulla, confirming a direct hit, which resulted in the destruction and disabling of multiple vehicles, in addition to the killing and wounding of the targeted force.

Israeli media reported that two were "seriously" wounded as a result of the operation. The outlets later said that one Israeli soldier was killed on the northern border.

At 9:00 am, the Resistance announced that its fighters showered the headquarters of the Israeli Golan Brigade in the Nafah military base using tens of Katyusha rockets.

Later in the day, Hezbollah targeted and hit Israeli technical hardware in the Hadab Yaroun military base using appropriate weapons.

Later, the Lebanese Resistance published air surveillance footage providing information on the attacked position and Israeli unit in Metulla.

According to the video, the Israeli force was positioned in an obscure parking lot in Nahal Ayun, which is surrounded by dense forests and trees. The station houses a reconnaissance unit from the Hetzei Ha-Esh 551 Brigade - 98th Division, which operates as part of the military surveillance mission, and another unit from the artillery.

Hezbollah reiterated that the operations come in support of the steadfast Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and their brave and honorable Resistance and in response to the Israeli attacks on the steadfast southern Lebanese villages and civilian homes.
