A report published on the Israeli news website Haaretz on Monday discussed several incidents of "friendly fire" among Israeli occupation forces that have resulted in casualties during the ongoing ground offensive against the Gaza Strip.

The report mentioned that the Israeli occupation military claims that most of these "friendly fire" incidents occurred during joint combat between armored and infantry forces, adding that investigations are underway to draw future lessons.

Israeli media outlets had broadcast scenes of infantry forces advancing into the Gaza Strip, showing confusion and disarray among Israeli occupation soldiers as they came under fire from Palestinian Resistance fighters. Several observers on social media suggested that this is an indication that the reserve forces invading Gaza lack real experience in urban warfare, potentially leading to increased losses among occupation forces during confrontations with the Palestinian Resistance.

On Monday, the spokesperson for the Israeli occupation military admitted that two additional Israeli occupation soldiers were killed during the ongoing confrontations with Palestinian Resistance fighters in northern Gaza, bringing the total number of Israeli soldiers killed since October 7 to 387, as per Israeli media.

This comes as the Palestinian Resistance in Gaza continues to confront Israeli occupation forces advancing into the Gaza Strip, inflicting significant human and material losses. Earlier, the spokesperson for Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, confirmed that Resistance fighters successfully targeted 60 Israeli military vehicles of various types in the past 72 hours and confronted the invading forces in several axes across Gaza.

Abu Obeida mentioned that the group's Resistance fighters are still "engaged in fierce confrontations on all axes" and have carried out several specialized operations against Israeli forces along axes they are advancing, resulting in direct casualties among occupation soldiers.
