In the same battles, a soldier in the reserves' 7220 battalion was seriously injured.

They can't catch a break
Yesterday, the IOF announced the killing of 11 of its officers and soldiers in separate attacks by the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip within 24 hours.
In parallel, the Martyr Izz-al Din al-Qassam Bridages, the military wing of the Hamas movement, claimed responsibility for operations in which its freedom fighters sniped four Israeli soldiers using the Al-Qassam's "Ghoul rifle", east of the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Abu Obeida, the spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, announced that the Bridages had completely or partially destroyed 42 Israeli military vehicles and eliminated 22 Israeli soldiers, during the past week.
In turn, Abu Hamza, the military spokesman for Al-Quds Brigades, stressed in a speech that what is happening in the field is "far too great for the Resistance's cameras to document," affirming that the Palestinian Resistance has left great losses among the ranks of the Israeli army.
