IOF Carries Out Arrest Campaign in West Bank, Occupied Jerusalem
The Israeli Occupation Forces arrest several Palestinians in Tulkarm, Ramallah, and Qalandiya refugee camp while continuing their oppressive military measures in occupied Jerusalem.
The Israeli Occupation Forces arrested Tuesday two Palestinians from Tulkarm. The two Palestinians are 20-year-old Ahmad Moutie Sleit and 22-year-old Omar Awda, the Palestinian Prisoners Club reported.
The occupation forces also arrested 35-year-old Fakher Khalaf after raiding his home in Rantis, a Palestinian village in northwest Ramallah.
"An Israeli occupation force consisting of five vehicles and over 20 soldiers surrounded the family's house at 2 AM. The force carried out a search in the house's vicinity and then attempted to break its door," Ibrahim Khalaf, brother of detainee Fakher Khalaf, told Palestinian media on Tuesday.
"The soldiers attacked me and asked for my ID card when I opened the door. When they confirmed that I'm not their target, they asked me to go back in and close the door" then they raided his brother Fakher's home and arrested him, he reportedly added.
The Israeli occupation forces also raided the Qalandiya refugee camp. The raid saw the IOF wounding two Palestinians and arresting two others. The IOF also raided homes under the pretext of 'search operations' and terrorized the camp's residents.
The Israeli forces arrested 10 Palestinian civilians from various areas of the West Bank on Monday.
The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied al-Quds reported that 75 settlers broke into al-Aqsa Mosque through Morocco Gate and carried out provocative tours in its courtyards, mainly in its eastern side.
