IOF colonel who propagated 'beheaded babies' story critically injured
Israeli occupation forces Colonel Golan Vach who had falsely claimed to have witnessed "beheaded babies" following the launch of Operation Al Aqsa Flood on October 7, 2023, has been critically injured in a Resistance operation in central Gaza.
A metal rod pierced the body of Israeli occupation Colonel Golan Vach, the Israeli officer who gained international attention for his false claims about beheaded babies and rape incidents on October 7, after a tunnel collapsed on him in central Gaza, according to the Quds News Network.
The Resistance operation, wherein they detonated a booby-trapped tunnel after luring the Israeli occupation forces into it, left the former IOF commander in a critical condition.
It is important to note that Vach, shortly after Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was launched, had claimed to have personally seen Hamas behead babies and rape women. That narrative he propagated was later debunked by Israeli settlers who survived the deadly Hannibal Directive enacted by the IOF that day, in accordance with which Israeli troops killed their own settlers.
'Israel' knows nothing about Hamas' tunnels: Released captive
Released Israeli captive Adina Moshe, 72, who was held by Palestinian Resistance factions in Gaza, revealed that the Israeli occupation military has no real knowledge of the Resistance's tunnel infrastructure.
During an interview for Israeli broadcaster Channel 12 on Sunday, Moshe said that the Israeli Shin Bet security service asked her to draw a map of the tunnels after she was released in a prisoner exchange deal.
"The Shin Bet asked me to draw a map of the tunnels in Gaza because they know nothing about them," Moshe told an interviewer.
The security agency had dispatched an engineer to speak to Moshe at an earlier time, where she told him that the tunnels in the Gaza Strip are a "vast underground maze stretching across the entire area." She also told the engineer that military operations alone will not help retrieve the remaining captives.
"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is lying, and neither he nor the military know anything about Hamas' tunnels in Gaza," the released captive added.
According to Channel 12, when Moshe was asked to draw up a sketch of the tunnels, she responded by saying that she was not an artist.
She was also asked to describe the tunnels, their pathways, their locations, and the communication devices and wiring installed in them.
It is worth noting that Moshe participated in protests demanding the Israeli government reach a ceasefire agreement and a prisoner exchange deal with the Palestinian Resistance.
