Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that the Israeli occupation forces have completely destroyed Syria's air defense systems. He added, "The occupation is targeting not only strategic weapons depots in Syria but also medium-range weapons."
Our correspondent noted that weapons control has become increasingly difficult for the Syrian state due to the widespread presence of individual arms. He also reported that education has resumed in schools and universities across Syria on Sunday, as life slowly returned to normal in the country.
In a related context, he mentioned that the military administration is focused on addressing and reassuring minorities, adding that "no security breaches have been reported in the cities of Aleppo and Damascus."
On Saturday, Israeli warplanes launched an attack targeting the Scientific Research Center and Defense Factories in the al-Safira area, in Aleppo's southern countryside, in northern Syria, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported.
Another wave of strikes targeted a Syrian radar battalion in al-Ruhaybah, in Damascus' countryside, overnight Saturday.
Israeli airstrikes were also launched in areas around the Syrian capital, the countryside of al-Suwayda, and the Syrian Scientific Research and Defense Factories in Masyaf, in Hamas' countryside.
