IOF confirm Staff Sergeant killed in south Gaza battles
The Israeli occupation military identifies the soldier as Staff Sergeant Simon Shlomov from the 202nd battalion of the Paratrooper Brigade.
The Israeli occupation military confirmed that one of its troops was killed in battles with the Palestinian Resistance in the Gaza Strip, raising the number of soldiers killed since the start of the war on October 7 to 574.
The occupation military identified the soldier as Staff Sergeant Simon Shlomov from the 202nd battalion of the Paratrooper Brigade.
According to Israeli media, Shlomov was killed Sunday during battles in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
The announcement raises the Israeli death toll in the ground invasion of Gaza to 235.
Earlier, the Israeli occupation military confirmed that 20 of its troops were injured in battles in the Gaza Strip over the past 48 hours.
But footage published by the military media of the Palestinian Resistance factions indicates that the losses incurred are much greater than officially declared.
