The Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) announced that its teams managed to reach a martyr in Jenin, raising the death toll to eight following the Israeli occupation's large-scale invasion of the city, which began earlier on Tuesday. Additionally, the PRCS reported that at least 21 Palestinians have been injured, with some injuries considered severe.

The PRCS stated that its teams reached an unidentified martyr in the al-Hadaf neighborhood in Jenin before Israeli forces seized the ambulance while it was transporting the martyr to the hospital for identification and later burial.

Moreover, the PRCS added that Israeli occupation forces targeted their ambulance with live bullets in the al-Hadaf neighborhood while it was heading to assist the injured, causing damage to the vehicle.

As part of the ongoing aggression, the Israeli occupation forces called for reinforcements to Jenin, as confirmed by local Palestinian media. The Israeli forces continued their military operation and expanded throughout several neighborhoods in Jenin and its camp.

Confrontations ongoing

Confrontations continue between the occupation forces and Palestinian Resistance factions. The Al-Qassam Brigades in the West Bank confirmed they are confronting the invading Israeli occupation forces and their vehicles in Jenin and its camp.

The Brigades reported engaging in fierce battles alongside other factions against the invading forces, targeting Israeli vehicles with explosive devices.

Israeli Channel 14 reported that an explosion impacted an Israeli military vehicle due to an explosive device planted on the roadside in Jenin.

In turn, Al Mayadeen's correspondent reported that Israeli bulldozers worked on destroying infrastructure near Jenin Governmental Hospital and obstructed ambulance crews from reaching the injured, including school students.

With the eight martyrs in Jenin, the total number of martyrs in the West Bank since October 7, 2023, has risen to 514, including 127 from Jenin, according to the National Association of the Families of the Martyrs of Palestine.

IOF storm other West Bank cities

In a continuation of its systematic aggression against cities, towns, and camps in the West Bank, Israeli occupation forces have stormed several areas.

In the northern West Bank, forces from the Israeli army entered the city of Qalqilya, arresting the parents of young Tareq Dawoud after raiding their home to pressure him into surrendering, according to local Palestinian media.

In the central West Bank, cities west of Ramallah were also stormed.

In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces raided the Wadi al-Hariya area in al-Khalil and also stormed the al-Fawwar camp in the south, conducting a campaign of searches and raids. Additionally, they raided the al-Aroub camp in the north of the city, carrying out arrests.

Israeli occupation forces also stormed the village of Z'atara, east of Beit Lahm, and the Aida refugee camp in the north of the city, positioning themselves inside local neighborhoods and raiding several homes.

During the raid on the camp, the forces re-arrested the previously released detainee, Hanine Masaeed.
