IOF drones target Gaza children like 'warped video game': UK lawmaker
Labour lawmaker Patricia Ferguson says the most disturbing part of "Israel's" actions is the "cold calculation of using machines to kill children."
A politician from Britain's ruling Labour Party said data presented by a retired physician, who has traveled to battle zones, including Gaza, indicated that Israeli forces targeting Palestinian children with drones was like a "warped video game," Anadolu Agency reported.
During the Humanitarian situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories debate at Westminster Hall on Tuesday, Labour lawmaker Patricia Ferguson cited retired vascular surgeon Prof. Nizam Mamode's testimony about "Israel's" deliberate targeting of Palestinian children after returning to the UK.
The war on Gaza has killed 43,985 Palestinians and left 104,092 injured, the majority of whom are women and children.
Mamode described his experience in Gaza in a social media post as "beyond belief".
I’m just back from Gaza. My account was closed and this a new one so please re-follow me. The devastation and suffering there was beyond belief. No safe zones. No way to leave. #ceasefire now @MedicalAidPal pic.twitter.com/OXU2jgH8lI

Ferguson told the Hall about how she thought she had seen enough regarding the war's "death, disease, and sheer brutality reported on our TV screens night after night" but recalled how Professor Mamode's talk showed images of "symmetrical puncture marks on a deceased child's corpse" and "wounds near the body's main arteries" that were "too precise to be caused by a human sharpshooter. They were the product of drones. Targeted innocent civilians, including a kid."
The lawmaker expressed that what affected her most was the "cold calculation of using machines to kill children, I thought it was some kind of warped video game that was the most disturbing aspect of Professor Mamode’s presentation which made those statistics […] mean a great idea."

Ferguson stated that she would want to see wounded children sent to the UK and Europe for treatment.
Another Labour legislator, Alex Ballinger, reported that a child in Gaza is murdered approximately every 10 minutes, describing the "failure to ensure adequate humanitarian access during their response" as "completely unacceptable".
Foreign Office Minister Anneliese Dodds declared that it was clear Gaza was in the "grip of a humanitarian catastrophe."
“Now, northern Gaza has no fully functioning hospitals. The sick and injured must be allowed to leave Gaza to receive care.”
Kamal Adwan Hospital under siege; we can't treat the injured: Chief
Dr. Hussam Abu Safiya, the director-general of Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza, confirmed on Wednesday that the hospital remains under intense siege, with the Israeli occupation preventing the entry of medicine and food. Additionally, civil defense teams and ambulances are being blocked from reaching the facility.
Abu Safiya noted that the hospital received a distress call yesterday from the Kahlout family after their home was targeted, but they were unable to assist them due to the ongoing siege, adding that "whoever came was saved, and whoever remained, unfortunately, was martyred."
He highlighted that the hospital is currently treating 85 injured women and children with minimal medical care, including six critically ill patients in intensive care.
Abu Safiya also pointed out that cases of malnutrition have begun to arrive at the hospital, including 17 children suffering from severe malnutrition, adding that "Yesterday, an elderly man died due to severe dehydration, and the situation has become catastrophic."
He emphasized that the same situation persists despite global calls to help the injured, stating, "Unfortunately, there has been no action or even promises from any international entity to open a humanitarian corridor for medical supplies, surgical teams, baby food, infant formula, therapeutic milk for malnutrition cases, or ambulances."
Since the start of the aggression on Gaza, the Israeli occupation has killed over 1,000 doctors and nurses while continuing to target hospitals, medical centers, civil defense teams, and ambulances. Additionally, the Civil Defense announced today that most of its vehicles have stopped working in the Gaza Strip.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza issued a distress call, stating that it "may be the last," and revealed that Israeli occupation forces continue to heavily bomb Kamal Adwan Hospital, violently destroying all of its facilities.
The Israeli occupation forces had previously raided Kamal Adwan Hospital, one of the largest hospitals in the Gaza Strip, blocking aid to the wounded and carrying out a series of attacks on the facility.
