More than 150 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire was established in Gaza, 40 of whom were martyred over the past two weeks, the director general of the Gaza Media Office, Ismail al-Thawabteh, reported on Monday.
This comes after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) executed three Palestinian men collecting wood in the Bureij camp in central Gaza.
The Israeli occupation's breaches are a glaring violation of the ceasefire agreement and international law, and a clear resumption of deliberate killings and genocide of the Palestinian people, al-Thawabteh stressed.
He further emphasized that the occupation also attempts to deceive, lie, and fabricate false narratives to cover its crimes. However, the undeniable facts on the ground expose its criminal intentions.
All the martyrs who were executed cold-bloodedly by the occupation were in areas that were supposed to be "safe," and they did not pose any threat to the occupation soldiers, he said.
Hundreds of buildings at risk of collapse
In this context, the head of the Government Media Office in Gaza, Salama Maarouf, warned of the collapse of hundreds of buildings due to shelling or fires caused by the occupation during the war, posing an immediate danger to the lives of thousands of citizens living inside them or nearby, as happened this morning when a three-story building collapsed in the al-Fakhoura area in the Jabalia camp.
220 buildings have been identified as at risk of collapse so far, and their residents have been evacuated, with warnings issued to those living in surrounding areas.
Maarouf emphasized that the ongoing siege, the prevention of heavy equipment and machinery from entering, and the delay in the reconstruction process are hindering efforts to neutralize the risk of collapse, delaying efforts to provide alternative shelter for their residents, forcing citizens to remain in them despite the danger of collapse at any moment.
48,577 martyrs in the occupation's assault on Gaza
The Civil Defense in Gaza continues, for the fourth consecutive day, to transfer the bodies of martyrs who were buried during the genocide within the walls of the Shifa Medical Complex in Gaza.
In a statement, the Civil Defense said that on Monday, 57 bodies were transferred, including 40 whose identities remain unknown.
The total number of bodies transferred so far has reached 135 martyrs.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Health in Gaza reported that five martyrs arrived at hospitals in the area (three martyrs retrieved, one new martyr, and one martyr who succumbed to injuries), along with nine injuries, over the last 24 hours.
It also mentioned that the total toll from the Israeli assault has reached 48,577 martyrs and 112,041 injuries since October 7, 2023.
