The Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades - Rapid Response announced that its Resistance fighters are confronting the incursion into Tulkarm with bursts of gunfire and explosives, targeting Israeli reinforcements at the entrance of Tulkarm camp.
Israeli war machine rampage on
Following these confrontations, Israeli forces withdrew a vehicle that had been disabled by the Resistance in the Nur Shams camp.
In further detail, Al Mayadeen's correspondent in the occupied West Bank reported that the Israeli military vehicle withdrawn from Nur Shams camp had been rendered inoperable by an explosive device.
Our correspondent added that the Israeli army deployed Namer vehicles to the Nur Shams camp and heavily stationed soldiers on rooftops, indicating that the military operation in Tulkarm aims to dismantle the Nablus road, which connects Tulkarm to other cities.

Meanwhile, Israeli bulldozers razed the area around the entrance of the Nur Shams camp, destroying infrastructure and demolishing entrances to commercial shops along the main street adjacent to the camp.
IOF imposed a tight siege on Nur Shams camp amid intense confrontations, loud explosions, and the presence of low-flying reconnaissance aircraft.
In the city of al-Khalil, reporters noted that Israeli forces continued their incursion into the town of Dura, where they are conducting a campaign of arrests.
'Israel' assassinated prominent leader of the al-Qassam Brigades
Israeli occupation forces (IOF) targeted the city of Tulkarm in the northwestern West Bank, resulting in the killing of three people, including a child, according to the Palestinian Ministry of Health.
In further detail, the Ministry identified the child as Ahmad Issam Fahmawi and the youth as Abdul Aziz Abu Saman, both of whom were killed in an Israeli drone strike on the Nur Shams refugee camp. The Israeli attack occurred shortly after Israeli invading forces stormed the city of Tulkarm earlier today.
Resistance fighter Hussam Bassam Youssef Malah, a prominent leader of the al-Qassam Brigades in Tulkarm, was also assassinated by Israeli special forces during the raid on the refugee camp.
Faissal Salama, head of the Popular Committee for Services in the Tulkarm camp, stated that a special unit from the Israeli army executed Malah from point-blank range, firing multiple shots that struck him while he was inside a supermarket near the camp entrance. The unit reportedly infiltrated the camp in a public taxi and a Tundra vehicle, withdrawing immediately after the assassination.
The al-Qassam Brigades confirmed the killing of one of its commanders Hussam Malah, who was assassinated by an undercover Israeli unit that had infiltrated the vicinity of Tulkarm camp on Wednesday evening.
On its part, Hamas condemned the occupation's aggression in Tulkarm and the killing of Resistance fighters, stating that such Israeli crimes would not weaken the resolve of the Palestinian people and their Resistance.
Additionally, the Palestinian Resistance Committees mourned the martyrdom of Resistance leader Hussam Malah from the al-Qassam Brigades, who was killed in a cowardly Israeli operation in the Tulkarm refugee camp. They emphasized that the blood of all martyrs will remain a beacon for the ongoing revolution toward the liberation of al-Quds and Palestine.
The Resistance Committees also asserted that the enemy's crimes would not break the will of the people and the Resistance, calling for an escalation of Resistance efforts.
IOF escalates administrative detention, issuing 9,500+ orders in Oct.
The Commission of Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society issued a joint statement highlighting a sharp increase in administrative detention orders imposed by the Israeli occupation against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and al-Quds. According to the report, over 9,500 such orders, both new and renewed were issued in October alone.
The report indicated that, as of early October 2024, at least 3,398 Palestinians are currently held under administrative detention, including 30 women and approximately 90 children, among them a 14-year-old boy named Ammar Abdul Kareem. These administrative detainees now constitute about 33% of the total Palestinian prisoner population held by Israel.
According to the statement, this surge in administrative detention orders correlates directly with intensified Israeli detention campaigns in the West Bank and al-Quds, resulting in more than 11,500 detentions across all segments of society. It further noted that some detainees faced attempted execution, as Israeli forces reportedly opened fire directly on individuals in their homes before detaining them. Cited examples include detainees Saleh Hassouna from Jalazone and Yaqub al-Hawarin from al-Khalil, who were both seriously injured by gunfire and later placed in administrative detention following hospitalization.
The statement emphasized that this increase in administrative detention is part of a strategy to suppress the social, political, and cultural roles of Palestinian society. Targeted groups include students, journalists, activists, and human rights defenders, with a substantial portion of administrative detainees comprising former prisoners.
Recent practices include returning detainees who have completed their sentences to administrative detention, as well as issuing administrative detention orders for detainees who had been released on bail or under other conditions. The statement criticized Israeli occupation forces' courts for institutionalizing administrative detention, especially under the current government, which it claims has aligned the judicial system with settler interests.
Despite calls to boycott Israeli military courts, the Commission and PPS continue to support detainee cases to ensure access to legal representation amid difficulties imposed by prison authorities. The report concluded by urging a unified national stance to gradually boycott occupation courts, particularly in cases of administrative detention, given its serious national and strategic implications for the Palestinian prisoner issue.
