IOF kill one in Jenin amid large-scale West Bank confrontations
Palestinian Resistance fighters engage Israeli occupation forces raiding various areas across the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian youth Ayman Azouqa was killed early Wednesday by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire during confrontations that erupted in Jenin in the occupied West Bank following an Israeli military incursion into the city overnight Tuesday.
Before succumbing to his wounds, Azouqa was transported by the Palestine Red Crescent Society crews from the al-Marah neighborhood while suffering from severe injuries due to bullet wounds in the chest and thigh.
According to Palestinian journalist Mohammad Hamdan, before medical crews rushed to the scene, the Israeli occupation forces had prevented anyone from coming close to Azouqa and left him bleeding.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces arrested former prisoner Ezzedine Mohammad Abu Dayya, 37, while he was passing a checkpoint east of Qalqilya.
In the town of Burqa northwest of Nablus in the West Bank, a 31-year-old Palestinian woman was injured in the shoulder by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire while at her home, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society. Local media reported that Israeli forces raided the town from several entrances, which led to confrontations in which soldiers fired live and rubber-coated bullets, and detonated stun grenades and tear gas canisters.
In the town of al-Khader south of Beit Lahm in the West Bank, two Palestinians were injured Tuesday evening by Israeli occupation forces' gunfire while others suffered from suffocation, and three were arrested during confrontations.
Earlier, the Palestinian Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners Society confirmed that Israeli occupation forces detained at least 30 Palestinians, including former prisoners, from the West Bank from Monday evening until Tuesday morning.
The large-scale detention campaign was primarily concentrated in the al-Jalazone refugee camp in Ramallah, while the rest of the detainments were distributed across the governorates of al-Khalil, Tulkarm, Nablus, Jenin, and Tubas.
Accompanied by the usual brutality, the Israeli raids on Palestinian towns and villages witnessed widespread severe physical assault on citizens, as well as vandalism of private property and threats against detainees and their families.
The total number of Palestinians detained in the occupied West Bank has risen to approximately 7800 since October 7, 2023. This figure includes those detained by Israeli occupation forces from their homes, military checkpoints, those coerced into surrendering under pressure, and those taken hostage.
It is noteworthy that the data includes Palestinians still detained and those who have been released.
