The Israeli occupation forces shot and murdered on Thursday a 17-year-old Palestinian child in the west of Ramallah.

The IOF opened fire against the Palestinian child and wounded him in the chest, Palestinian media reported. The murder victim is Odeh Mohammad Odeh, 17.

"A 17-year-old boy arrived at the Palestine Medical Complex with a bullet in the chest fired by the Israeli occupation forces in Al-Midya, near the Apartheid Wall, west of Ramallah," the Palestinian health ministry said in a statement.

"Medical professionals tried to save his life, but he succumbed to his highly critical injury," the statement added.

The Israeli occupation forces "fired live ammunition toward a group of children that were playing near the Apartheid Wall, which led to one of them getting injured, and he was later martyred after succumbing to his wounds," local sources reported.

Odeh is the fourth Palestinian killed at the hands of the Israeli occupation forces in less than two days of increasing aggression toward Palestinians.

One Palestinian youth was martyred and a number of others were injured amid fresh raids launched by the Israeli occupation on Thursday morning.

Israeli occupation forces raided the Dheisha refugee camp, south of Beit Lahm, this morning. The martyred youth, Ahmad Mohaysen, is a liberated prisoner and was shot by the IOF during their raids on the refugee camp.

The Israeli occupation forces shot and killed a young Palestinian and wounded three others late Wednesday in the town of Ya'bad, west of Jenin, during confrontations.

Earlier that day, the IOF murdered Ghufran Warasna, 31, a Palestinian journalist. She was killed in cold blood after Israeli occupation forces shot her and prevented ambulance crews from arriving at the scene, in front of Al-Aroub refugee camp north of Al-Khalil.
