Illegal Israeli settlers attacked late Thursday Palestinians in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, east of occupied Al-Quds, and vandalized their private properties, such as smashing the windows of their vehicles, all the while being heavily protected by the Israeli occupation forces.

"Knesset member Itamar Ben-Gvir is who initiated the storming of Sheikh Jarrah tonight," our correspondent added.

"The Palestinian Red Crescent crews transferred three children that suffocated due to gas inhalation, including a 7-day-old baby, and two children aged six and 14, respectively," Al Mayadeen's correspondent added.

The people of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood are habitually subjected to attacks and violations by the Israeli occupation forces and the setters they are protecting in a bid to displace them and take over their homes.

The Israeli occupation forces also assaulted Thursday night a number of citizens in the Old City of Al-Quds and arrested a young man from the Ras Al-Amud neighborhood in Al-Quds.

Confrontations broke out in the neighborhood between Palestinians and Israeli settlers, which saw the IOF firing rubber bullets at Palestinian youths who tried to resist the occupation, not to mention the occupation's usage of tear gas and stun grenades.

The IOF arrested a young Palestinian man after raiding his home and assaulting his family in Ras Al-Amud. They also assaulted two young men in Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa mosque, before arresting them, Al Mayadeen's sources reported.
