The people of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood are habitually subjected to attacks and violations by the Israeli occupation forces and the setters they are protecting in a bid to displace them and take over their homes.
The Israeli occupation forces also assaulted Thursday night a number of citizens in the Old City of Al-Quds and arrested a young man from the Ras Al-Amud neighborhood in Al-Quds.
Confrontations broke out in the neighborhood between Palestinians and Israeli settlers, which saw the IOF firing rubber bullets at Palestinian youths who tried to resist the occupation, not to mention the occupation's usage of tear gas and stun grenades.
The IOF arrested a young Palestinian man after raiding his home and assaulting his family in Ras Al-Amud. They also assaulted two young men in Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa mosque, before arresting them, Al Mayadeen's sources reported.
