IOF shoot dead 16-year-old Palestinian in al-Khalil
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society says the Israeli occupation forces shot 16-year-old Munther al-Rai in the back and chest.
Israeli occupation forces, on Saturday evening, shot dead a 16-year-old Palestinian boy in al-Arroub refugee camp, in the southern West Bank province of al-Khalil, local and medical sources reported as cited by state-run Palestinian news agency WAFA.
WAFA reported that occupation forces opened live fire and toxic tear gas canisters on a group of Palestinian youths and children while storming al-Arroub camp, resulting in the critical injury of 16-year-old Milad Munther al-Rai and the suffocation of several others.
The agency noted that al-Rai was rushed to the hospital for treatment, before succumbing to his wounds about an hour later.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces shot al-Rai in the back and chest.
It added that its medical teams performed cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on the 16-year-old before transferring him to al-Yamama Hospital in the city of Beit Lahm, where he was pronounced dead.
According to WAFA, Israeli occupation forces have murdered at least 200 Palestinians since the beginning of this year.
