Al Mayadeen correspondent reported that special Israeli units stormed the Jenin camp, and heavy gunfire was being heard in the camp, along with the entry of reinforcements for the occupation forces.

The military media of the Jenin Brigade said that "its fighters are confronting the occupation forces who stormed the camp and are showering them with a heavy barrage of bullets and bombs."

Our correspondent added that "the Israeli special force raided the house of Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) movement official Bassam Al-Saadi in the camp," and Israeli media reported the arrest of Al-Saadi.

Ezz El-Din Al-Saadi, the son of the PIJ official, said that "the occupation arrested his father and his sister's husband," noting that his father "was injured during the storming, and he does not know where they were both taken."

The Palestinian Ministry of Health has already reported the arrival of a martyr, who was shot by the Israeli occupation forces' bullets, at Jenin Governmental Hospital, and another person who was moderately injured at the Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital.

Islamic Jihad Movement Official Khader Adnan told Al Mayadeen that "blood in the house of Sheikh Al-Saadi confirms his injury before he was kidnapped."

Adnan revealed to Al Mayadeen that harming the life of Sheikh Bassam al-Saadi meant that there will be a greater Palestinian reaction.

Israeli media said that the Israeli forces arrested PIJ official Al-Saadi, who was wounded before being captured, revealing reports about a serious injury he sustained in his stomach.

The occupation's media report fears an escalation following the arrest of PIJ official Bassam Al-Saadi.

Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, announced the general mobilization of its forces and fighters in all Palestinian territories following the capture of Al-Saadi.
