Iran achieved victory over Israel long before response: Israeli media
Israeli media discuss how "Israel" was defeated since it assassinated Iranian officials two weeks ago in Syria.
Liraz Margalit, a doctor of digital psychology and behavioral economy, stated that "Iran achieved victory long before its attack" against "Israel" in its retaliation for the bombing of its consulate.
She said Iran's triumph was embodied by a "craze" among Israeli society and the media, amid nerve-wracking anticipation and endless speculation over the response.
In an article published in Israeli newspaper Maariv, Margalit expressed confusion toward a statement made by a former Israeli Air Force general saying "Iran has failed and would have to think of different ways to achieve victory in the future."
The Israeli doctor responded, saying, "The gist of the story is that Iran sent a clear message, which is: the matter is finished. The operation was already known and its end result was clear."
She also said the general's statement was "so wrong that she had to rub her eyes and ask herself if these were the people they [Israelis] have to count on for field assessments."
She reaffirmed that Iran did not fail, noting Iranians are not delusional, but rational, and knew exactly what they were doing as every step was well-calculated.
According to Margalit, Iran's response had a symbolic significance, but did not aim at, nor was it interested in igniting a front against "Israel" and the United States. She added that Iran operates based on the rules it imposes and absolute rationale, and that "Israel" must learn from the "class" it's in.
Absolute strategic mockery
Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said on Monday that the night of Iran's retaliatory operation was an "absolute strategic mockery" of the Israeli occupation.
It further detailed the strategic failure "Israel" was faced with following the Iranian response, saying the occupation was "enslaved and paralyzed by the fear of Iran's retaliation" for two weeks post its assassination of Iranian officials in Syria.
Western media outlets have been reporting over the past day that Iran's retaliation did not inflict much damage on "Israel", and although the occupation has a long-established policy of greatly underreporting the damage it suffers, as part of its propaganda campaign to appear as a fortress, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday that the "successful" deterrence of Iran's attack goes back to the assistance "Israel" was provided by the United States and allied Arab states.
"American, British, and Jordanian warplanes played an especially important role in downing drones," WSJ said, underlining that the majority of Iran's drones and missiles were destroyed before reaching Israeli airspace due to the assistance it received.
It is noteworthy that the attack launched by Iran was far from a surprise attack, and begs the question of whether "Israel" and its allies can replicate their performance during the Iranian operation in the case of an all-out war, and whether "Israel" would be able to stand guard against Iran - and most likely its allies - by itself without any assistance.
