Iranian foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian had previously stressed that one of Tehran's main issues was firstly reaching a stage in which the country is able to sell Iranian oil with ease and without any obstacles, and secondly, depositing foreign oil earnings in Iran's banks.
Amir-Abdollahian had previously underlined that the West must take a serious and effective decision with regard to canceling the embargo and proving its true deflection from the failed policies of the previous US government.
Simultaneously, the US announced that an agreement in the ongoing Iranian nuclear talks in Vienna is "on the verge of being reached."
"A deal that addresses all sides' core concerns is in sight, but if it is not reached in the coming weeks, Iran's ongoing nuclear advances will make it impossible for us to return to the JCPOA," a US State Department spokesperson said on Monday.
The National Security and Foreign Policy Committee of the Iranian parliament said Friday the negotiations on the Iranian nuclear deal were very different from previous ones.
A member of the committee, Brigadier General Muhammad Ismail Kawtari, expected that "negotiating directly with the United States is possible if sanctions against Iran are lifted."
