Iran committed to ceasefire as long as 'Israel' is: Pezeshkian

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared Tehran’s commitment to upholding the ceasefire with "Israel", contingent on Israeli compliance, while accusing the US of escalating aggression in support of "Israel", during a phone call with Malaysia's Prime Minister.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced today, Tuesday, that his country will not violate the ceasefire as long as the Israeli entity adheres to it, emphasizing Tehran's readiness to engage in negotiations to secure the rights of its people.
Pezeshkian clarified in a phone call with Ibrahim that the United States joined the aggression alongside the Israeli entity when the latter failed to achieve its objectives, while emphasizing that the US aggression against Iranian nuclear facilities is a violation of the country's sovereignty and international resolutions.
Iran considers regional, Muslim states ‘friends, brothers’:
Speaking with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, Pezeshkian said Iran views regional and Muslim countries as its brothers and friends with no confrontational intentions.
He hailed the explicit and clear stance of Oman on the path of peace and security in the region.
The Iranian president also addressed the conspiracies hatched by "Israel" and the United States against the Islamic countries, asserting that the wise leadership of the regional countries can neutralize the plots waged by the enemies.
Cooperation and interaction of the regional countries with one another can bring about peace and security for their nations and people, Pezeshkian underlined.
He affirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not back down from its inalienable rights, adding that the Iranian people will not forget the empathy and cooperation of Omani officials on the path of fulfilling negotiations between Iran and the US.
On his part, the Sultan of Oman said his country and other countries in the region are fully aware that Iran has an inalienable right to defend its national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
US, 'Israel', working on creating division among Islamic nations: Pezeshkian
During a phone call with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on Tuesday evening, Pezeshkian highlighted the US role in recent developments, stressing that the United States and "Israel" are actively working to create division, spread discord, and foster hostility among Islamic nations.
The president addressed the US meddling in the Iran-"Israel" war, explaining that the Islamic Republic of Iran had no choice but to strike the US base in Qatar in response to Washington’s direct role in violating Iran’s national sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran has no intention of confrontation with any neighboring or Islamic nations, adding that his country is prepared to resolve differences with the United States within the framework of international law and regulations regarding Iran’s undeniable right to peaceful nuclear energy.
Kingdom first to condemn strikes on Iran: MBS
For his part, the Saudi Crown Prince pointed out that Saudi Arabia had been the nation to condemn "Israel’s" aggression against Iran from the very beginning, explaining that his country had exerted maximum diplomatic efforts to pressure Israel into de-escalation.
Mohammad bin Salman stated that his country had also condemned the US aggression against Iran, stressing that Saudi Arabia neither permits nor will ever allow "Israel", the United States, or any other nation to utilize its airspace for launching attacks on Iranian territory.
The Saudi Crown Prince went on to express his hope that the war would not reignite while also voicing his desire for Iran and the US to return to negotiations to address their outstanding issues.
Strikes on Qatar only targeted US bases: Pezeshkian
Iran's President Pezeshkian clarified to Qatar's Emir on Tuesday that recent strikes targeted only US bases in Qatar as retaliation for American involvement in attacks on Iran, stressing that they were never aimed at Qatar, as both leaders affirmed mutual goodwill and a desire to strengthen bilateral ties.
In a phone call with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, President Masoud Pezeshkian reiterated that "what happened yesterday was only a response to the US direct involvement in the Zionist regime's aggression on the Iranian territory and by no means meant Islamic Republic of Iran's confrontation with the friendly, brotherly, and neighboring Qatar," emphasizing that the action was solely directed at the US presence.
Pezeshkian expressed the Iranian government and people’s deep gratitude for the goodwill and fraternal stances of the Qatari government, particularly during difficult times, while the Emir, in response, affirmed that the US base in Qatar was never utilized for attacks against Iran and emphasized his country’s desire to strengthen brotherly relations with Iran.
Striking US bases on Qatari soil pained Iran: Pezeshkian
In another phone call with his Emirati counterpart, Mohammad bin Zayed, President Pezeshkian echoed his statements to the Qatari Emir, emphasizing that Iran's response to the American aggression on Qatari soil was necessary, adding that "Qatar is a brotherly and friendly nation, and what happened has caused us double the pain."
Meanwhile, bin Zayed stressed that self-defense is a natural right for every nation, expressing his appreciation for Pezeshkian’s discussions with Qatar’s Emir in the spirit of good neighborliness and strengthened bilateral relations.
