Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian declared Tehran’s commitment to upholding the ceasefire with "Israel", contingent on Israeli compliance, while accusing the US of escalating aggression in support of "Israel", during a phone call with Malaysia's Prime Minister.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced today, Tuesday, that his country will not violate the ceasefire as long as the Israeli entity adheres to it, emphasizing Tehran's readiness to engage in negotiations to secure the rights of its people.

Pezeshkian clarified in a phone call with Ibrahim that the United States joined the aggression alongside the Israeli entity when the latter failed to achieve its objectives, while emphasizing that the US aggression against Iranian nuclear facilities is a violation of the country's sovereignty and international resolutions.

Iran considers regional, Muslim states ‘friends, brothers’:

Speaking with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman, Pezeshkian said Iran views regional and Muslim countries as its brothers and friends with no confrontational intentions.

He hailed the explicit and clear stance of Oman on the path of peace and security in the region.

The Iranian president also addressed the conspiracies hatched by "Israel" and the United States against the Islamic countries, asserting that the wise leadership of the regional countries can neutralize the plots waged by the enemies.

Cooperation and interaction of the regional countries with one another can bring about peace and security for their nations and people, Pezeshkian underlined.

He affirmed that the Islamic Republic of Iran will not back down from its inalienable rights, adding that the Iranian people will not forget the empathy and cooperation of Omani officials on the path of fulfilling negotiations between Iran and the US.

In a phone call with Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, President Masoud Pezeshkian reiterated that "what happened yesterday was only a response to the US direct involvement in the Zionist regime's aggression on the Iranian territory and by no means meant Islamic Republic of Iran's confrontation with the friendly, brotherly, and neighboring Qatar," emphasizing that the action was solely directed at the US presence.
