The Sunday "Flag March"
On Sunday, the Israeli Channel 13 reported on a state of alert in the Gaza Envelope settlements ahead of the "Flag March", and a number of settlers headed to emergency shelters.
The channel indicated that there was fear within the security and military establishment, prior to the March, regarding violent confrontations and attempts to carry out operations and launch rockets from the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli channel expected scenarios that included the firing of rockets from the northern border [with Lebanon] and the Gaza Strip and the eruption of confrontations, pointing out that Hamas was in a state of strange silence, in light of the heated events.
The channel added that the storming of Al-Aqsa at dawn on Sunday, ahead of the March, and the images that circulated afterward do not bode well for the rest of the day.
The Israeli Channel 12 quoted Hamas warning that all scenarios were possible and that all possibilities were on the table.
The Israeli Makan channel confirmed that the Israeli army was reinforcing its deployment on the border with the Gaza Strip after the threats of the Palestinian factions, noting that ambulance and emergency responders were on high alert.
