Iran denounces US claims in 2021 HR Report
Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh criticizes the US claims in the HR report, saying the US is the main violator of human rights and is by no means qualified to talk of lofty concepts.
Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh stated on Thursday that releasing unfounded and duplicate reports makes them illegitimate.
The lie-addict government of the US is not expected to tell the truths and realities, he said, adding that the biased, political, and interventionist nature of the US report is obvious to everyone.
With a history filled with war, invasion, coup, kidnapping, assassination, slaughter and economic blockade all across the globe, he said, the US is the main violator of human rights and is by no means qualified to talk of lofty concepts.
Khatibzadeh stressed that Iranians wouldn’t forget the crimes committed by the US against Tehran, including provoking internal elements to assassinate Iranian individuals during the last decades, downing a passenger plane, and all-out efforts to deprive Iran of its basic rights.
He also described as a gross violation of human rights the US sanctions against Iran that restrained sending medications to Iranian patients.
Khatibzadeh then mentioned the direct order given by former president Donald Trump to assassinate the late General Qasem Soleimani, saying that this deed displays the US' terrorist nature.
