An Iranian drone directly struck a building in the occupied city of Baysan, also known as the settlement of Beit She'an, early Saturday, according to the Israeli newspaper Maariv, causing significant damage to the targeted structure.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority reported that Israeli emergency service teams were searching through the rubble for potential casualties following the explosion of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) inside the building in Baysan.
Israeli media also admitted that attempts to shoot down the drone, apparently a Shahed-136, failed, allowing a direct hit on the targeted site.
