Iran's military warned off on Tuesday two RQ-4 and MQ-9 drones that approached the area of the Zolfaqar 1400 drills.

Iran's ISNA said two US drones entered the Flight Information Region (FIR) and ADIZ (Air Defense Identification Zone) and were warned by Iran's air defense, confirming that the two drones changed course after they were warned off.

The maneuvers' spokesperson Admiral Mahmoud Mousavi said that his country will conduct the massive naval maneuvers with units from Iran's land, air, naval, and air defense forces.

Mousavi added that the region's enemies never wanted and can not secure peace in the region. He added that terrorism, Zionism, and their protectors today are threatening regional security, which is why we believe that lasting security requires the cooperation and awareness of all of the region's countries.
