Iran, Nicaragua sign comprehensive cooperation document
Iran has lately been expanding its relations in Latin America.
The Foreign Minister of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and the Foreign Minister of Nicaragua, Denis Moncada, met today at the venue of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to sign a comprehensive cooperation document, the Government of Iran said on Sunday.

Previously, in September of this year, the two officials had met on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly to discuss the latest developments in bilateral relations between the two countries.
Iran has lately been expanding its relations in Latin America.
In June, Iran and Venezuela signed a 20-year cooperation plan intended to boost trade and diplomatic relations.
In November, officials from both Cuba and Iran met with the intent of expanding strategic cooperation in health.
