Iran nuclear deal clouded by US: Khatibzadeh
Any negotiation has a framework, and the Iranian negotiating team in Vienna has a clear one, says Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh.
Iran's Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Saeed Khatibzadeh said that Tehran’s push for the removal of sanctions that have hampered its economic benefits has been a major point of discussion in the Vienna talks.
In a gathering of university students in Mashhad, Khatibzadeh added that Iran has yet to hold direct talks with the US in Vienna, despite the fact that Iran does not accept the red list of US sanctions.

Furthermore, he has also stressed that issues related to verification have been resolved in Vienna.
The verification is to make sure that the US has removed the sanctions in practice and not just on paper, Khatibzadeh noted.
Referring to the pause in the Vienna talks, Khatibzadeh said that the European Union had requested it, noting that Iran was attempting to resume the talks.

It is worth mentioning that the Iranian diplomat underscored, on Saturday, that Tehran will not allow any other state to interfere in the country's internal affairs.
