Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that "Israel's" aggression in Gaza and southern Lebanon could have widespread consequences beyond West Asia, speaking at a Tehran summit honoring martyred Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

"The usurping, apartheid, and child-killing Zionist regime, rejecting all plans and proposals to establish a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, presses ahead with its crimes in Palestine and Lebanon, and regrettably, the international community has been unable to stop the Zionist genocide or is only watching Zionist warmongering and their efforts to make the entire region unsafe," Araghchi said.

The Iranian Foreign Minister emphasized that if the war expands, its repercussions could extend well beyond West Asia, warning, “insecurity and instability is something that can spread to other areas, even far away.” He stressed that achieving a fair ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon should be the “priority” for the international community, adding that Iran has made every effort to support this goal.

He also underscored that the international community now holds greater responsibility in addressing these crises, calling on the United Nations and other global institutions to uphold their obligations in preserving peace and security through impartial and just approaches.

Araghchi commended Sayyed Nasrallah as a symbol of resistance, bravery, and opposition to oppression and aggression, serving as an inspiration not only for Lebanon but for the Muslim world and all freedom-seeking nations as well.

"Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah always believed that ignoring the Zionist regime’s crimes undermined the foundations of international justice and, therefore, emphasized the importance of multilateralism and cooperation among countries to deal with these crises," he said.

The Iranian Foreign Minister warned that "Israel" has launched a hybrid war against Lebanon, using military, intelligence, and media tactics, and even inciting division among Muslims and between Muslims and Christians.

Araghchi emphasized, "It is only the internal solidarity of Muslim nations and the strengthening of regional cooperation that can protect the resistance front from the enemies," noting that Lebanon’s diverse society can endure challenges through national unity.

"Lebanon, with its cultural and religious diversity, exemplifies a society that is able to withstand challenges only by relying on national unity," Araghchi said.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution and the Islamic Republic of Iran, Sayyed Ali Khamenei, praised the late Hezbollah Secretary-General, martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah for his courage and strategic foresight, which led to the Lebanese Resistance group's remarkable strength and influence.

During a meeting with members of the Assembly of Experts on Thursday, Sayyed Khamenei highlighted that "Hezbollah experienced extraordinary growth thanks to Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah's reliance on God and his courage, wisdom, and patience."

Hezbollah became a force that the enemy could not defeat, despite all its material, media, and political resources, Sayyed Khamenei underscored.

He emphasized that Sayyed Nasrallah has "left behind a lasting legacy which is Hezbollah," which, over the past four decades, has transformed from a small group of fighters into a mighty power that has forced the Israeli occupation regime to withdraw from Lebanese territory on multiple occasions.

Sayyed Khamenei underlined that anyone who believes that the Lebanese group has been weakened is mistaken, vowing that the world will witness how the Israeli occupation entity will receive a blow from these Resistance fighters.

“The enemy has been unable to overcome this organization, and God willing, it will not be able to do so. The world and the region will one day witness that the Zionist regime will clearly be defeated at the hands of these fighters struggling in the path of God," he said.

The Iranian leader also noted the significant achievements of the Palestinian Resistance against "Israel", noting that the movement "managed to gain victory against Zionist regime 9 times since 2009."

Despite extensive support from the United States and Western nations, Sayyed Ali Khamenei pointed out that "Israel" has failed to dismantle the Hamas movement, resorting instead to killing thousands of innocent people and exposing its ugly face to the world.

"Hamas is still fighting. It is still waging a struggle. This means the defeat of the Zionist regime," he stressed.

Sayyed Khamenei honored the memory of martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, senior Hezbollah official Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, Hamas leaders Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar, and IRGC General Abbas Nilforoushan.

Elsewhere, the Iranian leader said that given the growth, dynamism, and unwavering resistance demonstrated by Hamas and Hezbollah, along with their victories over the past decades, the recent developments will undoubtedly lead to the triumph of the Resistance Front.
