Iran's President, FM call for Muslim unity against Israeli crimes
Iranian officials are engaged in diplomatic talks aimed at bringing an end to the ongoing Israeli crimes against the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian called for increased pressure on supporters of the Zionist regime to end all aggression and stop its "killing machine".
Pezeshkian thanked Sultan Haitham bin Tariq Al Said of Oman on Wednesday, during a phone call, for the country's stance on the ongoing Israeli violations in Gaza and Lebanon. He also urged for "greater unity" among Muslim countries.
He said, “If Muslim countries act as one, the Zionist regime will not dare commit violations so easily, nor will the US and Western countries be able to support it."
Pezeshkian reaffirmed Tehran's commitment to deepening its relationship with Muscat, emphasizing that ties with Oman are a key priority for the Islamic Republic and align with its broader strategy of enhancing cooperation with neighboring countries.

He added that strengthening relations between regional countries and expanding regional cooperation would guarantee a shared vision and language to solve our region’s problems, while also providing a platform for collective development, "promoting the welfare, peace, and comfort of our nations."
Sultan Haitham bin Tariq praised Iran's position on regional matters, particularly regarding Gaza and Lebanon, and emphasized the importance of Western nations avoiding double standards in their approach to these issues.
He further stressed that backing the rights of the oppressed people in Gaza and Lebanon is a key priority for Oman, stating, "Oman has consistently held that the ongoing support by Western nations for Israel's crimes is neither acceptable nor justifiable in any manner."
Collective action needed against Zionist war crimes: Araghchi
Echoing the President's remarks, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi called for collective action to halt the war machine of the criminal Zionist regime.
He made these comments during a meeting with King Abdulla II and exchanged views on critical regional issues and developments.
In a meeting with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, in Amman, he also emphasized the need for collective efforts to put an end to the crimes committed by the Zionist regime.
During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on bilateral relations and discussed the latest developments in the region.
While addressing the critical situation in the region due to the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the aggression on Lebanon by the Zionist regime, Iran’s top diplomat emphasized the urgency of collective action by regional countries.
He called for efforts to halt the Israeli war machine, prevent the further escalation of the war, and safeguard regional stability and security to protect the interests of the countries in the region.
For his part, the Jordanian Foreign Minister expressed deep concern over the escalating security situation in the region. He underscored the urgency of ending the killing of innocent people in Palestine and Lebanon, halting aggression against Lebanon, and preventing further instability in the region.
The Iranian and Jordanian foreign ministers highlighted the significance of mobilizing regional countries and the international community to assist refugees in Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.
On Wednesday, Araghchi arrived in Amman to meet with senior Jordanian officials, discuss the latest regional developments, and seek strategies to stop the brutal attacks by the Israeli regime on Palestinian and Lebanese civilians.
