Iran's UN mission: Aggression supporters will be deemed accomplices
Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations has said that assets of supporters of an Israeli aggression on Iran will considered "legitimate targets."
Iran has warned the Israeli regime's supporters that their assets will be "legitimate targets" if they participate in the Israeli occupation's battle against the country, Iran's Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported, citing Iran's Permanent Mission to the United Nations.
The mission said on Thursday that Tehran will definitely respond to any act of aggression against it.
Stressing that Iran will only directly respond to an aggressor, it said that any country assisting said aggression would be deemed an accomplice and its assets be considered legitimate targets.
"Our response will be solely directed at the aggressor. Should any country render assistance to the aggressor, it shall likewise be deemed an accomplice and a legitimate target," the mission explained.
"We advise countries to refrain from entangling themselves in the conflict between the Israeli regime and Iran and to distance themselves from the fray," it underlined.

Iran showed restraint, West did not fulfill promises
Earlier, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian headed to Qatar on Wednesday to attend a summit of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue and discuss how Israeli crimes can be prevented in the region.
In a meeting with members of the Hamas Political Bureau, Pezeshkian emphasized that Western countries had made empty promises to Iran, urging it to show restraint in hopes of securing a ceasefire in Gaza. He stressed that the ongoing Israeli crimes forced Iran to carry out a harsh response to "Israel", warning that if the latter decides to make the "slightest mistake" it should prepare to receive an even harsher response.
This comes after the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) launched a missile attack, composed of nearly 200 missiles, at Israeli military and intelligence targets in occupied territories. Officials said that "Operation True Promise 2" only utilized a fraction of the country's strike capabilities, saying that the attack came in response to the Israeli-commissioned assassinations of Palestinian leader, martyr Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah and Resistance leader, martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC commander, martyr Brigadier General Abbas Nilforoushan.
Pezeshkian described the assassination of Haniyeh, which the Iranian Armed Forces included as part of the justification for its response, as one of the most painful events in his life, "as he was a guest at my inauguration ceremony."
