Iran, Tunisia exchange congrats on Eid Al-Adha, interest to boost ties
In a phone call, Iran and Tunisia's presidents express a common interest in consolidating relations between the two countries in the best interest of the two brotherly nations.
Tunisian President Kais Saeid and his Iranian counterpart Ebrahim Raisi exchanged congratulations on Eid Al-Adha during a phone call, stressing that it constitutes an opportunity for the two presidents to express their shared interest in strengthening relations.
"On Sunday afternoon, a telephone conversation took place between President Kais Saeid and Mr. Ebrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, during which congratulations were exchanged on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha," the Tunisian presidency said in a statement.
"This call was an opportunity for the two presidents to express their common interest in strengthening relations between the two countries in the best interest of the two brotherly nations," the statement added.
