Iran Warns "Israel" against Adventurism on Nuclear Program
Iran's ambassador to the United Nations demands the head of the Security Council to stand up to Israeli threats against his country's nuclear program.
Iran's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Majid Takht Ravanchi, warned the Israeli occupation against any “miscalculation” or “military adventurism” against the Islamic Republic and its nuclear program.
Takht Ravanchi stated, in a letter he submitted to the UN Security Council's president on Wednesday, that the "frequency and severity of the regime’s provocative and adventurous threats had steadily increased over the past months and reached an alarming level."
He also added that the Israeli threat to continue to "try and destroy Iran's capabilities" proves that this entity had been responsible for terrorist attacks against Iran's peaceful nuclear program in the past.
Takht Ravanchi went on to say that given the "ominous history of the Israeli regime’s destabilizing practices in the region and its covert operations against Iran’s nuclear program, it is necessary to counter the regime and stop all its threats and disruptive behavior."
Ravanchi's warning came in response to the Chief of the General Staff of Israel's Security Forces, Aviv Kochavi, declaring that "operations to destroy Iranian capabilities will continue, in any arena and at any time," and that "operational plans against Iran’s nuclear program will continue to evolve and improve."
