Iran: Arab League statement ineffective on our peaceful nuclear power development
Iran's Foreign Ministry slams the Arab League summit's statement and considers these moves to be unfruitful to some countries.
Iran's Foreign Ministry condemned the statement released by the Arab League's Foreign Ministers Summit, which accused Iran of destabilizing regional security.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry's statement noted that these unfruitful movements by some countries go against their diplomatic actions in the past months, refuting the baseless claims that Iran is interfering in the internal affairs of others.
According to the Ministry, such repeated statements represent an obstacle before the development of Iran's relationship with its neighbors, stressing Tehran's position in calling for dialogue with neighboring countries and resolving misunderstandings with diplomacy.
It also considered such statements to be inconsequential on the development of the country's peaceful nuclear program and asserted that preserving Iran's nuclear achievements and defense capabilities is part of its strategic policies.
The Arab League's statement had considered what it called Iran's "interference" in the affairs of Arab states as both dangerous and unacceptable and is part of the "Iranian regime's" praxis of destabilizing regional security.
