Iranian nation's voice more expressive than ever: Raisi
The Iranian President says during his trip to New York, he explained the stance of Iran in the direction of securing the interests and values of the Iranian nation.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi pointed out that during his trip to New York, he presented Iran's position on defending the Iranian nation's interests and values.
"During the trip to New York, we explained the stance of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the direction of securing interests and values of the Iranian nation," he said.
Upon his arrival in Tehran at the end of his three-day trip to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly, Raisi highlighted that he held 20 meetings with elites and politicians, adding that "this time, the voice of the Iranian nation was more expressive than all the years."
The Iranian President further stated that attending the UNGA provided a chance for dialogue and position clarification.
He considered expressing the country's perspective and protecting its principles as "important issues".
Raisi emphasized that establishing communication with all nations is one of Iran's cornerstones, noting that "in the meeting with elites and media people, we felt that the image they (media) present of Iran is not real."
He also stressed that it is the duty of the media and government officials to convey the true image of the country to others so that they avoid misunderstandings.
On a separate note, the Iranian President revealed that after more than 85 years, Iran successfully reclaimed 3,506 Achaemenid tablets from the United States, adding that "the rest of these tablets will be returned soon."
Raisi noted that this achievement was a result of the efforts of the Iranian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
