Iran’s Top Commander: No Tolerance for Any Israeli Presence next to Our Borders
Iran’s commander of the Ground Force of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps Mohammad Pakpour affirmed that the Islamic republic “does not tolerate the presence and activity against our national security of the Zionist regime next to our borders.”
During his visit to the Kurdistan region, Iran’s top commander told reporters that the armed force is currently at the highest level of its defensive and combat preparedness", adding that "Iran expects neighboring border areas and neighboring countries to provide a safe and secure environment."
The top Iranian commander tersely slammed unrealistic and provocative statements which are made by some countries regarding improving Iran’s Combat readiness.
Furthermore, he went on to say that the land of our neighboring countries "should not be a platform for the Zionist entity”.
"Any geopolitical change in the region is considered a breach of Iran’s internal security," Pakpour said, adding, "Iran has always declared it a red line."
“We will not remain silent," he stressed.
On his account, Iranian Minister of Intelligence Ismail Khatib warned the US and Israeli bases in the Kurdistan region of Iraq against trying to disrupt Iranian security, affirming that “Iran will respond firmly to any threat.”
