The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on Tuesday that its fighters carried out drone strikes on an Israeli drone base in the occupied Golan Heights in relation to its response to the Israeli occupation forces' criminality in Gaza.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq stressed that it would continue attacking Israeli sites over the war on Gaza as it has been doing since it joined the fight a mere 10 days after it started on October 17.

This operation comes in continuation of the Resistance's confrontation of the occupation in support of the people of Gaza and in response to the massacres committed by "Israel" against Palestinian civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, the Islamic Resistance stressed.

The footage released by the Resistance of the attack on the Israeli facility showed its fighters saluting Iranian President Sayyed Ebrahim Raisi, who was killed along with Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and their companions in a helicopter crash on Sunday.

The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced Monday an operation targeting Israeli sites in Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) using drones.

In a statement, the Islamic Resistance affirmed its continued targeting of enemy strongholds, as part of the second phase of Resistance operations against the occupation, "in support of our people in Gaza, and in response to the Zionist massacres against innocent Palestinian civilians."

Iraqi Resistance launches new type of drones at Eilat

Earlier on May 14, the Islamic Resistance in Iraq targeted Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in Umm al-Rashrash [Eilat], in southernmost occupied Palestine, with two suicide drones.

This attack marked the first use of al-Arfad suicide drones in the operations of the Iraqi Resistance against Israeli and US forces in the region. Earlier, the Iraqi Resistance had depended on the use of its own version of the Shahed-101 drone. Al-Arfad drones resemble the Yemeni Armed Forces' Sammad line of attack drones, which have been heavily deployed against Western naval forces and the Israeli occupation.

Iraqi Resistance factions intensified their targeting of Israeli forces in May, utilizing a variety of cruise missiles and drones to do so.
