Iraqi Resistance mourns martyr killed by US aggression against Iraq
A martyr within the Islamic Resistance in Iraq has been killed in the American aggression targeting the Iraqi-Syrian border.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq - the Sayyed Al-Shuhada Brigades - mourned the martyrdom of one of its fighters, who was killed in an American strike on the Iraqi-Syrian border.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent had reported the aggression that targeted the tribal area west of al-Bukamal, on the border with Syria, which killed a martyr.
Earlier on Friday, informed sources confirmed to Al Mayadeen that a drone attack targeted a military site in the tribal area, located 7 km west of the city of Al-Bukamal, east of Deir Ezzor.
The sources added that the targeting "caused a large explosion in the area, without information about the extent of the losses."

Hezbollah says US strikes on Syria, Iraq aggravating regional conflict
In February, Hezbollah strongly condemned the "blatant American aggression against Iraq and Syria, which targeted several areas in the two brotherly countries, and led to several martyrs and injuries."
"What the United States has done is a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the two countries, an aggression against their security and territorial integrity, and a brazen violation of all international and humanitarian laws," the statement added.
These airstrikes contribute to the destabilizing of the region and add to the insubstantial justifications and pretexts "for the continued American occupation of several areas in Iraq and Syria against the will of their peoples, who are eager for freedom and independence."
The statement saw that the American aggression against Iraq, Syria, and Yemen "reveals the lie of the American claims of not wanting to expand the conflict in the region [...] to the contrary, it contributes to fueling the conflict and tension and aggravating the wars in the region."
