Iraqi Resistance not deterred by aggression, attacks US base in Erbil
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq vows continuing operations against US and Israeli targets in the region until the war on Gaza stops.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced on Thursday the targeting of the US military base near Kurdistan's Erbil Airport in northern Iraq using drones.
The party confirmed that these attacks were in continuation of the resistance against the "US occupation" in Iraq and the region and in response to the Israeli entity's massacres against the people of Gaza.
Since October 17, the Resistance group has carried over 150 attacks on US occupation bases in Syria and bases in Iraq. The operations resulted in the injury of more than 70 American soldiers.

The second phase
Israeli military sites and targets have also come under numerous attacks launched by the Islamic Resistance, most recently targeting the port of "Ashdod" and the port of Haifa in the past two weeks using cruise missiles and drones.
While the attacks originally did not come within a dedicated context, the Resistance group announced earlier this week that it has transited to the second phase of its operations in which it will work on enforcing blockading Mediterranean maritime routes to the Israeli-occupied ports in occupied Palestine.
The new equation was announced by the leader of Kataib Sayyid al-Shuhada, a faction that operates under the umbrella of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, following the US strikes that targeted positions of the Iraqi government's Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) and led to the martyrdom of several servicemembers.
"While the Americans continue targeting our forces, our mujahideen have begun the second phase of their operations," al-Walai posted on X.
