Iraqi Resistance targets Golani Brigade observation base with drones
Israeli media report that sirens were activated in the southern occupied Syrian Golan due to a drone infiltration.
The Islamic Resistance in Iraq announced early Monday that its fighters have targeted "a Golani Brigade observation base in our occupied lands using drones."
In a statement, the group affirmed that the operation comes "in continuation of our resistance against the occupation, in support of our people in Palestine, and in response to the massacres committed by the usurping entity against civilians, including children, women, and the elderly."
The Iraqi Resistance underlined that it will continue to "strike enemy strongholds with increasing intensity."
Israeli media reported that sirens were activated in the southern occupied Syrian Golan due to a drone infiltration.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation military said in a statement that "the incident is over," without providing further details. Later, it claimed that Air Force warplanes intercepted a drone that was fired overnight from Iraq via Syria.
The latest operation came a few hours after the Islamic Resistance in Iraq confirmed it had targeted an Israeli site in the Jordan Valley, east of occupied Palestine, using the al-Arfad drone, marking the fifth attack on Sunday.

Israeli media described the attack as the largest from Iraq since 1991 and stated that more than 15 drones of a new type were deployed.
On its part, the Israeli occupation military said that several interceptors were launched toward a drone launched from Iraq coming from the direction of Syria. However, it did not specify if the Israeli defenses managed to intercept the target.
