The Israeli occupation forces have killed 15 Palestinian children so far in 2022, the Geneva-based Defense for Children International's Palestine chapter (DCI-P) said in a report on Sunday.

The report said the occupation had been hiking its aggression against minors in occupied Palestine, namely in the occupied West Bank and occupied Al-Quds since the onset of this year.

Five of the children whom the Israeli occupation murdered were in Jenin, a city in the north of the occupied West Bank. The city has become a ground for the Israeli occupation's crimes and violations. Moreover, the IOF has arrested 17 Palestinian children during raids on their homes in Jenin and injured at least six other minors.

Since the Second Intifada in September 2000, the Israeli occupation has detained more than 19,000 Palestinian children, which included children who were not even 10 years of age.

Currently, there are at least 160 Palestinian minors in Israeli jails, in which they are subjected to physical and psychological torture at the hands of the Israeli occupation's interrogators.

Jenin also saw 17 children losing their homes after the occupation embarked on demolishing them across the city.

“Israel continues to enjoy impunity and protection for its crimes against Palestinian children, which encourages it to further kill, arrest, and injure Palestinian children,” the organization said.

The United States supporting the Israeli occupation practically grants "Tel Aviv" impunity, as it has been able to evade any accountability for its intensifying violations and crimes against Palestinians despite its acts violating international law.

DCI-P's 2021 report found the number of Palestinian child fatalities caused by the Israeli occupation's relentless bombing of the blockaded Gaza Strip to be 60.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation killed 18 children in the occupied West Bank, the organization said, including two children murdered at the hands of Israeli settlers.

Between the Second Intifada and mid-2013, the Israeli occupation brutally murdered more than 1,500 Palestinian children; the equivalent of one child getting murdered every 3 days for 13 years.
