'Israel' preparations for war against Iran is mere words: media
Israeli media points out the Israeli occupation's bluff regarding its exercises, stressing that it could not move against Iran without the West.
There are no new developments regarding the tensions that ensued between Iran and the Israeli occupation during the past week, the Israeli KAN Channel said Friday, addressing the tensions with Tehran, the Israeli preparations for war with the Islamic Republic, and the latter's uranium enrichment.
The Israeli channel addressed Israeli Security Minister Benny Gantz's visit to the United States and the visit by the commander of the Central Command in the US army to "Israel", saying that there were no fundamental changes. "In reality, Iran is making strides in terms of uranium enrichment. However, it is still far from building a nuclear bomb despite the Israeli statements about nuclear advancements."
"Regarding [Tel Aviv's] readiness, there are no new developments. This means that the Israeli [occupation] forces have been planning for Iran since 2007, and the soldiers are trained at a certain level, and they trained [for the Islamic Republic] within the framework of the latest military exercises. But again, these are just words," the channel underlined.
The channel highlighted that the Israeli occupation must not go further than it had already planned, which is coordinating with the US. The Israeli outlet also touched on the military drills, stressing that they were only an attempt at garnering attention.
"We did not see this week any sign of [Israel's intention] to do anything, it just wanted to say 'we are here, do not forget us just because you are busy with Russia and Ukraine'."
"Gantz came back from the United States knowing that the world is occupied with something else: Ukraine [...] Iran is only an Israeli concern," KAN said.
"Not everyone within Israel's security apparatus believes that [Tel Aviv] could destroy nuclear facilities in Iran on its own, not now, and not in many years to come," the channel's military affairs commentator said.
KAN underlined that the Israeli occupation was concerned that the West does not agree with its military approach. "Israel is only training to lay the groundwork for a military option to destroy the nuclear facilities in Iran, but they can also sabotage and carry out assassinations, among other things."
"So long as the United States and Europe are not in line with Israel, it will be alone," the Israeli broadcaster said.
"That is why we hear that what is going on is so-called messages: a major military exercise in the Red Sea is a message to Iran and an upcoming large-scale military exercise, under which dozens of aircraft will fly 2000 km West, the exact distance to Iran, is a message. But in Iran, as we see, they are not affected by these messages," the Israeli Public Broadcasting Corporation concluded.
