'Israel' strikes Syria from Lebanon, kills IRGC soldiers
Two Iranian IRGC soldiers were killed during an Israeli attack on Syria near Damascus.
The Israeli occupation Air Force's F-16 fighters on Monday attacked Syria with eight cruise missiles, seven of them were destroyed, Rear Adm. Oleg Zhuravlev, deputy head of the Russian Center for the Reconciliation of Warring Parties in Syria, said following the incident.
Syrian agency SANA reported Monday that Israeli fighters had attacked several points in the vicinity of Damascus at about 5 am, while violating Lebanon's airspace. The Israeli aggression killed two civilians.
"On March 7, at 06:05 [Moscow Time], four Israeli F-16 tactical fighters launched an airstrike on Syrian territory from the Lebanese airspace with eight cruise missiles. Seven missiles were successfully destroyed by the Syrian air defense forces," Zhuravlev said.

IRGC soldiers killed in IOF aggression
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps announced Tuesday night that two Iranian soldiers were killed in an Israeli attack in the vicinity of Damascus.
"There is no doubt that the Israeli occupation will pay for this crime," the IRGC statement said.
Maariv military affairs commentator Tal Lev-Ram said following Iran's announcement of "Tel Aviv" killing two of its soldiers in Syria, the Israeli army upped its level of alert in the north.
"It is to about anything dramatic, but especially the intelligence and the defense systems. There is no specific information. On normal days, an instant response is the least likely scenario, but on the other hand, we are not on normal days."
