Separate IOF strikes kill two in South Lebanon amid ongoing violations

One Lebanese citizen was killed on Sunday after an Israeli drone targeted a car in the town of Houmine al-Fawqa in the Nabatieh district, the Lebanese Ministry of Health announced.
Al Mayadeen's correspondent in southern Lebanon reported that an Israeli drone targeted a car in Houmine al-Fawqa with three missiles.
Earlier, in the morning, our correspondent also reported that one person was killed following an Israeli drone strike in South Lebanon, specifically between the towns of al-Suwwaneh and Khirbet Selem in the Nabatieh Governorate. According to the report, the Israeli occupation targeted a pickup truck with three missiles fired from a drone.
The strike resulted in the martyrdom of one person at the scene.
Occupation forces also opened heavy machine gun fire toward the outskirts of Alma al-Shaab, a border town located in the Tyre district in the South Governorate.
Israeli violations ongoing
On Saturday, a total of three citizens were killed and 11 others were injured in several Israeli attacks on South Lebanon, a few hours apart. In detail, in the latest attack, an Israeli drone targeted a car in the southern Lebanese town of Baraachit, killing one citizen and injuring four others.
Another Israeli drone targeted a vehicle between the Jneim area, east of Shebaa, and Rashaya al-Wadi, killing its two passengers, Al Mayadeen’s correspondent in southern Lebanon reported on Saturday, citing the Lebanese Health Ministry.
Just about an hour earlier, our correspondent had reported that another Israeli drone targeted a vehicle near Salah Ghandour Hospital in the town of Bint Jbeil, South Lebanon, with two missiles.
The Israeli occupation continues to violate the ceasefire declared in November 2024, especially in border towns adjacent to occupied Palestine, which have witnessed ongoing shelling and incursions, along with periodic attacks on the Bekaa region.
"Israel" has violated the ceasefire almost daily in southern Lebanon, carrying out airstrikes, shelling, and incursions in border towns, violating the ceasefire despite Lebanon's adherence.
