The Israeli occupation continues its brutal aggression on Lebanon for the ninth consecutive day, committing further massacres against civilians by destroying residential buildings in the South, Bekaa, and Beirut's Southern Suburb.

In the latest massacre in the South, 10 people were killed and several others were injured in an Israeli attack on the town of al-Dawoudiya.

Additionally, Father Gregory Salloum of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Antioch was seriously injured in an Israeli airstrike on Ibl al-Saqi.

The Lebanese army is working to reopen the road that the Israeli occupation blocked last night between Ibl al-Saqi and Kouqaba.

Sporadic Israeli airstrikes target multiple Lebanese governorates

At approximately 8:30 am, hostile warplanes struck a building and a house in the al-Dhahabiya neighborhood of the town of Kfar Tibnit, destroying both and causing extensive damage to nearby homes and vehicles.

Concurrently, Israeli warplanes bombed the town of al-Khiam, coinciding with artillery shelling on the town. Simultaneously, drone strikes targeted the town of Ain Arab, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.

Local media sources confirmed several injuries and significant destruction after Israeli airstrikes targeted the town of Yohmor al-Shaqif in southern Lebanon. The bombardment resulted in damaged homes, adding to the growing toll on civilian areas amid the ongoing Israeli aggression.

The residents of Saida are holding funerals for the martyrs of the Ain al-Dilb massacre today, with the death toll now at 60, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent.

Earlier this morning, the Israeli occupation launched a heavy airstrike targeting Fatah leader Mounir al-Maqdah in the Ain al-Helweh Camp in Saida, South Lebanon. The attack resulted in five martyrs and several injuries, including al-Maqdah's son, according to initial reports.

Meanwhile, the National News Agency reported a notable movement of forced displacement following the declaration of the area south of the Litani River as a "military zone".

In the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon, the death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression has risen to 250 martyrs so far.

The Public Health Emergency Operations Center affiliated with the Ministry of Public Health stated that the Israeli airstrikes in the last 24 hours on the Baalbek-Hermel governorate resulted in the martyrdom of 16 people and injuries to 48 others.

In the Southern Suburb of Beirut, cautious calm has been observed following a night that saw eight airstrikes on residential complexes, including a building housing Al-Sirat Channel, according to Al Mayadeen's correspondent in Beirut.

According to the Emergency Operations Center, the Israeli aggression on the capital, Beirut, over the past 24 hours has resulted in the killing of 4 people and the injury of 4 others.

Lebanese army refutes withdrawal claims from Southern border

The Lebanese Army has dismissed allegations that its forces have retreated from the southern borders, where Israeli airstrikes are ongoing.

In a statement, the Lebanese Army said, "Reports claiming the withdrawal of [army units] from the southern border posts for several kilometers are false."

"A repositioning of some forward observation points is being implemented within their designated sectors of responsibility," the statement read, noting that the command "continues to cooperate and coordinate with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon."

It is worth noting that the Israel occupation forces (IOF) have initiated a series of "limited" and "localized raids" in southern Lebanon, allegedly only targeting the border area, the IOF announced in the early morning hours of Tuesday.

The operation, which had been failing for hours as Israeli forces faltered under Hezbollah's fire, reportedly aims to "neutralize" the Resistance's infrastructure and positions that pose a threat to "Israel" and its northern settlements.

The IOF said the incursion is being carried out based on "precise intelligence", focusing on villages in South Lebanon at the border area with occupied Palestine as part of a broader plan developed by the General Staff and the Northern Command.

The invasion is supported by the Israeli occupation's Air Force and Artillery carrying out extensive strikes on southern Lebanon as part of the Israeli Operation Northern Arrows.
