Israeli airstrike on south Lebanon kills 5 Syrians, including 3 kids
The Israeli occupation forces go after children whether in Gaza or in Lebanon regardless of their nationality.
The Israeli occupation killed three Syrian children in an airstrike strike on the village of Umm al-Tut, located near the southern Lebanese border with occupied Palestine.
The Lebanese state news agency NNA reported the heartbreaking incident, which adds to the rising toll of civilian casualties in the region.
Earlier the same day, the NNA reported that another Israeli strike claimed the lives of two Syrian adults. The attack targeted a bike on the Kfar Tebnit-Khardali road in southern Lebanon. This brings the total number of Syrian fatalities to five in a single day.
This comes a day after the Israeli occupation forces killed civilians in the southern Lebanese city of Bint Jbeil. Two siblings from the Dagher family, a brother and sister, were killed, and their other sister was critically injured when their home was hit by two airstrikes, leading to its complete destruction.
Emergency response teams, including paramedics, civil defense units, the Islamic Scout Association, and the Islamic Health Authority, are actively working to clear the rubble from the destroyed home. All three were transported to a nearby hospital.
In the wake of the attack, the spokesperson for the municipality of the northern Israeli settlement of Kiryat Shmona underlined urged settlers to be cautious in light of "today's events", asking them to remain close to bomb shelters.
The repeat aggression on civilians can only come off as muscle flexing, and that was called out by The Washington Post, which stressed that the current situation does not allow "Israel" to go to war with Hezbollah although it keeps saying it is ready for any scenario with Lebanon.
Since October 8, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon has been conducting operations against the Israeli occupation in response to the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Hezbollah has declared that its strikes are aimed at pressuring "Israel" to cease its war on Gaza, repeatedly confirming that the attacks will cease once the aggression against Gaza ends.
Despite the public threats against the group on the northern border, voices within the entity are expressing fears that its forces are exhausted and its resources are depleted as it continues to fight its longest war in decades.
According to the newspaper, "Israel" has been devising plans for a war on Lebanon for months now.
